The GRACE Posture Corrector (model 655, Size 2, Toros-Group) is a lightweight, figure-hugging posture correction brace designed for daily wear by both children and adults. The GRACE model is distinguished from standard rigid-stiffener braces by its soft, padded construction — made from a combination of cotton (30%), polyester (30%), and polyurethane foam (40%) — which provides postural support through gentle resistance rather than rigid fixation, making it suitable for comfortable all-day wear without producing the restrictive sensation of a firmer brace.
The device works by gently drawing the shoulders back and separating the shoulder girdle, counteracting the rounding of the upper back. This sustained gentle correction supports the re-education of postural habits throughout daily activities. The breathable, foam-padded construction is comfortable for extended wear under clothing. The brace is suited for posture correction in kyphosis, kyphoscoliosis, and shoulder-rounding postures, and can also be used in the rehabilitation period following injuries or surgery to the thoracic and upper lumbar spine. Size 2 — see sizing guide on packaging for chest circumference measurements. Manufacturer: Toros-Group, Ukraine.

What It Is and How It Works
Toros GRACE Posture Corrector 655-2 is a soft posture brace for people who tend to round their shoulders or slouch at a desk, while studying, or during other long seated tasks. Unlike rigid orthopedic models, this posture corrector works through light, steady tension: it gently encourages the shoulders to move back and helps the upper back hold a more open position without feeling heavily fixed in place.
Biomechanics and Effect
The effect comes from simple biomechanics. When the shoulder girdle is lightly guided backward, the chest area opens and the upper spine is less likely to collapse forward. Over time, this can help a person notice and correct habitual slouching more easily. The padded foam construction is important here: it creates mild resistance rather than hard pressure, so the brace feels softer against the body and is easier to wear under clothing through normal activities.
When People Choose It
This makes the Toros posture corrector a practical option for adults or children who need a gentle reminder to keep a straighter posture, especially during:
- Work at a computer
- Reading
- Sewing
- Studying
- Other situations where the body tends to drift forward
It may also be chosen when a rigid brace feels too restrictive and a lighter orthopedic aid is preferred. The material blend balances softness, shape retention, and breathability:
- Cotton
- Polyester
- Polyurethane foam
Important Notes
Because this is a non-rigid model, it is best seen as an aid for posture training rather than a forceful fixation device. If posture changes are linked to a diagnosed spinal condition, recovery after injury, or persistent pain, it is sensible to ask a healthcare professional whether this type of brace is suitable. Stop use if the corrector causes:
- Rubbing
- Numbness
- An unpleasant feeling of pressure
