CINNAMON STICKS 30G (15 PCS) SATTVA

It is recommended to burn incense in small rooms with an open window (ventilation position on the window) so that the room is not too filled with smoke. The desired aroma from incense appears after it burns out. The atmosphere that is in the air is relaxing, uplifting and soothing. After burnout, the window should also be closed, then a mixture of fresh air with a touch of incense will remain in the air. Light the incense stick, wait until it glows, and let it burn for a few seconds. Depending on the type of incense, the flame may go out on its own, if it does not go out, gently blow out the flame. Then place the incense stick in the incense holder and let the incense do its thing. Do not leave burning incense unattended!

There are about 12 incense sticks in one package. Burning time is about 60-70 minutes.

Made in India.

Customer Questions
What should one cinnamon stick burn and how do I get the most out of it?
The exact burn time of an incense stick depends on the room's airflow, the temperature, and how the stick is placed. A typical stick of this size burns for roughly 30 minutes, but the scent does not disappear the moment the stick is out — it lingers in the room for a while, so you do not need to light a new one every time.To get the most out of the stick:Place it in a holder on a heat-resistant surface, away from open windows. A draft makes the stick burn faster and the aroma fade sooner.Light the tip, let it burn for a few seconds, then blow out the flame. The tip should glow, not burn with a flame — a flame produces more smoke and consumes the material too quickly.Keep a window slightly open. Fresh air helps the scent spread through the room instead of becoming heavy and overwhelming.Do not light a second stick until the first one has finished. Two sticks at once usually make the aroma too intense and shorten the overall effect. If you want the room to be ready when you sit down to read or meditate, light the stick 10–15 minutes before you start. The stick does not need to be burning while you are in the room — the scent will already be settled. After the stick has burned out, let the holder cool completely before touching it. The ash is light and can fall, so place the holder on a small tray or plate.
Is it safe to use the incense sticks indoors, especially with children or pets?
Incense sticks are safe to use indoors when you follow the basic safety rules. The most important one is to never leave a burning stick unattended. A lit tip can easily ignite fabric, paper, or other flammable material if the stick falls or is placed too close to something.Keep the stick out of reach of children and pets. The tip is small and hot, and the smoke can be irritating to animals with sensitive lungs, especially birds and small rodents. If you have birds, it is better to use the incense in a different room or with the window fully open.Always place the stick in a proper holder on a heat-resistant surface — a stone or ceramic plate works well. Do not put it on a wooden table, plastic surface, or near curtains, towels, or bedding. Keep a clear distance between the burning tip and anything that could catch fire.Ventilation is part of safe use. Open a window slightly or leave the door open so the smoke can disperse. This keeps the aroma pleasant and prevents the room from becoming too smoky. If someone in the household has asthma, respiratory sensitivity, or is pregnant or breastfeeding, it is wise to use the incense in a well-ventilated space or skip it — the smoke can be irritating. Consult a specialist if you have chronic conditions or are on medication. When the stick has finished, let it cool completely before moving the holder or disposing of the ash. Do not try to extinguish a burning stick with water — it can splatter and create a mess.
What mood does the cinnamon scent create, and when is the best time to light it?
Cinnamon is one of the more intense and warming scents in the Sattva range. It has a spicy, slightly sweet character that feels like comfort and home — the kind of aroma you associate with a cold evening, a warm drink, or a quiet moment. It is not a fresh, light scent like citrus or mint; it wraps the room in warmth.Because of this character, the cinnamon stick fits well in situations where you want to slow down rather than stay alert. The source suggests lighting incense before yoga practice, before reading, after cleaning, before sleep, or whenever you want to pause. Cinnamon suits these moments especially well — the evening ones, the reading ones, and the moments before sleep. It is also a natural choice for colder months. The warm, spicy aroma pairs well with rain, a hot drink, or a quiet evening at home. In summer, the same scent can feel heavier, so you might prefer a lighter option — but that is a matter of personal taste.Because the scent is fairly strong, it is best to light one stick in a medium-sized room and keep a window slightly open. In a very small room, cinnamon can become overwhelming quickly. If you are unsure about the intensity, start with half a stick — break it in half and light only the lower part. For meditation or yoga, the cinnamon stick can help create a warm, grounded atmosphere, but it is not a sedative — it simply sets a mood. If you prefer a lighter, fresher background, you might choose a different scent from the collection instead.
How should I store the cinnamon sticks so they keep their aroma?
Incense sticks are sensitive to moisture and strong odours. If they absorb moisture, they become harder to burn and the smoke can be dull. If they are stored next to something with a strong smell — like spices, coffee, or cleaning products — they can pick up that smell and lose their own cinnamon character. The best way to store them is to keep them in the original packaging, in a dry, cool place. A cupboard or shelf away from the kitchen and bathroom is ideal, because those rooms tend to have higher humidity and stronger smells. Avoid leaving them on a windowsill or next to a radiator — direct sunlight and heat can dry out the natural oils and make the aroma weaker. If you have opened the pack and only use one stick at a time, close the packaging properly after each use. If the pack is not resealable, transfer the sticks to a small glass jar or a tin with a lid. This keeps them dry and protects them from absorbing other smells. With proper storage, incense sticks can keep their aroma for a year or more. You do not need to refrigerate them — room temperature is fine. Just keep them dry and away from strong odours. Before lighting a stick that has been stored for a long time, check that it is not bent, cracked, or damp. A damp stick will not burn evenly and will produce more smoke than usual. If it feels soft or smells musty, it is better to replace it.

What Sattva incense sticks are

Sattva incense sticks are a simple way to fill your home with a pleasant aroma and create an atmosphere for rest, meditation, yoga or evening relaxation. They are used not only as a source of fragrance, but also as an element of aromatherapy: the aroma helps you switch off after a busy day, make the space feel cosier and set the desired mood. Depending on the chosen scent, the sticks can feel soft, fresh, spicy, woody, floral or more intense, making it easy to choose an option for different situations and moods.

Sattva is inspired by the traditions of Ayurveda, where aromas, plants, resins and spices have long been used to harmonise space, refresh the atmosphere and create inner balance. In the Ayurvedic approach, scent is not just a pleasant detail, but part of daily care for yourself and your home. Incense sticks help make a familiar space feel warmer, more harmonious and more mindful.

When to choose them

In aromatherapy, scents are connected with emotional state, memory and the feeling of comfort. One aroma can help create a sense of freshness and clarity, another can bring cosiness, while a third can enhance the atmosphere of meditation or evening rest. That is why incense sticks work well as a small home ritual: just a few minutes, and the room already feels different. You can light a stick at moments such as:

  • before yoga practice
  • while reading
  • after cleaning
  • before sleep
  • whenever you want to slow down a little

Sattva sticks can be used in the bedroom, living room, bathroom, yoga, massage or meditation area. They are also suitable for gift sets, Ayurvedic collections, home care and creating a pleasant atmosphere without complicated accessories.

How to use

  1. Simply place the stick in a suitable holder.
  2. Light the tip.
  3. Gently blow out the flame.
  4. Allow the aroma to unfold gradually.

Important notes

It is important to use incense safely:

  • do not leave a burning stick unattended
  • keep it away from children, animals, fabrics and flammable objects
  • ventilate the room or use the sticks with a slightly open window so that the aroma remains pleasant and does not become too intense

Sattva incense sticks are a beautiful Ayurvedic element for the home, aromatherapy, relaxation and creating a special mood every day.
