After the incense has burned, it is advisable to close the window, leaving the fresh air mixed with the lingering scent of the incense. Light the tip of the incense, wait until it starts glowing, and let it burn for a few seconds. Depending on the type of incense, the flame may extinguish by itself; if not, gently blow it out. Then place the incense stick in a holder and let the incense do its work.
