The scent of sandalwood is warm and enveloping. It has been used in various rituals for thousands of years. It has long been recognized as a sleep aid fragrance. Take advantage of these properties and burn sandalwood incense in your bedroom. These products are handcrafted from the highest quality natural products and then hand-rolled from bamboo. After lighting an incense stick and placing it on a special stand, it burns slowly, emitting only a small amount of smoke. It is he who wanders around the room and allows you to calm down after a hard day.

SATTVA Sandalwood Incense Sticks N15
SATTVA Sandalwood Incense Sticks N15 are handcrafted aromatherapy incense sticks for people who enjoy warm, woody scents and want to make a room feel quieter and more settled. Sandalwood has a long place in Ayurvedic practice and ritual use, valued not for sharp sweetness but for its soft, resinous depth. Many people choose this fragrance in the evening, when a gentler scent feels more suitable than something bright or citrusy.
The character of the scent
What makes sandalwood notable is the character of its aroma: dense, smooth and slightly creamy, with a dry wood note that lingers in the air without feeling overly heavy when used in moderation. In home fragrance, this type of scent is often associated with slowing the pace of a busy day and helping the mind switch from stimulation to rest.
When people choose it
That is why sandalwood incense is often used in spaces set aside for reflection or breathing practices. People frequently reach for it during:
- Meditation — to accompany a short session
- Reading — for a calm, settled atmosphere
- Yoga — during quiet, focused practice
- Before sleep — in bedrooms and quiet corners
How it works
SATTVA incense sticks are hand-rolled on a bamboo base, which is a traditional format in Indian incense making. This gives a slow, even burn and a steady release of fragrance rather than a sudden burst. The product is also described as producing only a small amount of smoke, which may suit those who want a noticeable scent without an overly dense, smoky effect in the room. The pack of 15 sticks is practical for occasional use at home, whether you light one stick after work or use it to accompany a short meditation session.
Important notes
As with any incense, it is best to use SATTVA Sandalwood Incense Sticks with care:
- Burn them in a ventilated room, on a suitable holder
- Keep them away from fabrics, children, and pets
- If you are sensitive to fragrances or smoke, start with a short burning time to see how the scent feels in your space

Customer Questions
To burn SATTVA Sandalwood Incense Sticks safely, always use a proper incense holder that keeps the stick upright and catches the ash. Place the holder on a stable, heat‑resistant surface away from curtains, paper, or anything flammable. The room should be ventilated — open a window slightly to let the smoke disperse, but avoid strong drafts that could make the stick burn unevenly. Keep the burning stick out of reach of children and pets, and never leave it unattended. If you are sensitive to fragrances or smoke, start with a short burning time: light the stick for a few minutes, then extinguish it by gently blowing it out or pressing the lit end into a fireproof dish. These sticks are hand‑rolled on a bamboo base, which gives a slow, even burn, but the actual burn time depends on the room’s airflow and humidity. Always make sure the stick is completely out before disposing of the ash. Store the remaining sticks in a dry place, as moisture can affect how they burn.
Sandalwood incense has a dense, smooth, and slightly creamy aroma with a dry wood note that lingers without being sharp or sweet. It is not bright or citrusy; instead, it feels soft and resinous, which makes it a good match for quiet, reflective moments. Many people choose it during meditation, reading, yoga, or in the bedroom before sleep, because the scent helps create a calm, settled atmosphere. The SATTVA Sandalwood Incense Sticks are hand‑rolled on a bamboo base, so the fragrance releases slowly and steadily rather than in a sudden burst. The pack of 15 sticks is designed for occasional use—lighting one after work or during a short meditation session can be enough. The sticks produce only a small amount of smoke, so they suit rooms where you want a noticeable scent without a heavy, smoky effect. To get the most even distribution, light the stick a few minutes before you start your activity, and place it in a spot where the air can carry the scent gently.
Store the incense sticks in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Moisture can make the bamboo base bend or the incense paste flake off, which can cause uneven burning. Keep the pack closed when you are not using it to preserve the fragrance. The sticks are hand‑rolled, so they are somewhat fragile—remove them gently from the pack to avoid breaking the tip. Place them in a holder that supports the whole length, and avoid storing them under heavy objects. When you light a stick, let the flame burn for a few seconds, then blow it out so the tip smolders and releases the scent. If you notice the sticks have absorbed moisture, you can let them air out in a dry room for a day, but avoid using them if they feel damp, as they may not burn properly. Always keep the incense away from open flames and heat sources when not in use, and store them out of reach of children and pets.
