Calendula Tincture is a traditional botanical preparation made from the flowers of pot marigold (Calendula officinalis) macerated in ethyl alcohol (70% vol.). Calendula has a centuries-long history in European botanical traditions as a topical skin care preparation and as a diluted oral rinse for oral hygiene. The tincture has a characteristic golden-amber colour, a warm floral aroma and a slightly bitter taste. It is used primarily as a diluted mouth rinse to support oral hygiene, and may be applied to intact skin surfaces as part of a skin care routine.
The alcohol base (ethanol) serves as both solvent and preservative, extracting and stabilising the water-soluble and lipophilic components of the calendula flower — including flavonoids, triterpenoids and carotenoids — in a concentrated liquid format. One 25 ml bottle provides a practical supply for a prolonged oral rinse or skin care routine. Important: for external and oral rinse use only — not for ingestion.

Planeta Zdorovia Saialille tinktuur 25 ml is a calendula tincture made from Calendula officinalis flowers extracted in alcohol. People usually choose this type of herbal liquid when they want a traditional plant‑based option for diluted oral hygiene rinsing or for external use on intact skin.
Calendula has been used in European herbal practice for centuries, especially where a concentrated flower extract is preferred over teas or milder infusions. The extraction method uses ethyl alcohol to draw out both water‑soluble and fat‑soluble compounds, so the finished liquid contains a broader range of calendula’s naturally occurring substances, including:
These plant compounds are valued because they interact with the skin and mucous membranes in a gentle way, which is why calendula is often found in botanical oral rinse and topical formulas. The liquid form also makes it easy to dilute to the strength needed for different situations.
This product may suit someone who likes classic herbal preparations and wants a compact tincture for occasional use at home. It can be used in the following ways:
The 25 ml bottle is small, but tinctures are concentrated, so only a little is used at a time.
Because this is an alcohol‑based calendula extract, it should be handled thoughtfully. It is not meant for swallowing, and it should only be used diluted and only on unbroken skin or as an oral rinse as directed on the label. Avoid it during pregnancy, in children below the stated ages, and if you are sensitive to Asteraceae plants such as chamomile, arnica or ragweed. If the area is very sensitive, or if you are unsure whether an alcohol tincture is suitable for you, it is sensible to ask a healthcare professional before use.
