What It Does
Botanic Leaf Honey Sauna Soap is designed to cleanse the skin with an additional softening and moisturizing effect, especially in hot and humid conditions. In a sauna, skin becomes more receptive to care, and pores open, enhancing the cleansing effect of the product.
Key Ingredients
- Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine — the cleansing base that effectively removes impurities, sweat, and excess sebum, leaving the skin feeling clean.
- Glycerin — helps retain moisture in the skin, reducing the risk of dryness; its moisturizing effect is confirmed by research (International Journal of Cosmetic Science).
- Honey Extract (Mel Extract) and Propolis — known for their softening and antimicrobial properties; research shows that bee products can help maintain the skin's barrier function (Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology).
- Linden Extract (Tilia Cordata) — has a soothing effect and helps reduce skin irritation.
- Lactic Acid — provides a gentle exfoliating effect, promoting skin renewal and improving its texture, as confirmed by dermatological studies.
The soap is suitable for use in the bath or shower: it cleanses the skin, helps maintain its softness and hydration, and promotes a more comfortable skin condition after bathing.

Customer Questions
Botanic Leaf Honey Sauna Soap is intended for cleansing the skin in the bath, sauna or shower. In a sauna, it is best used after the skin has warmed up and is fully wet: the hot, humid environment softens the skin surface and helps the cleansing base remove sweat, impurities and excess sebum more effectively.
This soap may be a suitable choice if you want a body cleanser that does more than remove sweat and sebum. Its cleansing base is paired with glycerin, which helps retain moisture in the skin, and with honey extract and propolis, which are known in cosmetic use for softening properties. Linden extract is included for a soothing effect, which can be helpful when skin feels uncomfortable after heat, steam or washing.
The cleansing action comes mainly from Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Cocamidopropyl Betaine. These ingredients help lift away sweat, impurities and excess sebum, which is especially useful after sauna heat because the skin perspires more and the surface can feel oily or sticky.
