Apply to damp skin or hair, lather, massage lightly and rinse with water.

Botanic Leaf tar soap for saunas is designed for deep cleansing, reducing oiliness, and treating problematic, blemish-prone skin. These products are traditionally used in banyas or saunas, where the heat enhances the cleansing effect and helps open pores.
Birch components (Betula Alba Extract) and tar products are known for their antiseptic properties. In dermatology, birch tar is used to reduce inflammation, itching, and excess keratinization of the skin, such as in seborrheic conditions and acne (data from clinical reviews on the use of tar in dermatology).
The cleansing base (Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine) effectively removes impurities, sebum, and sweat, which is especially important when used in a sauna. Glycerin helps retain moisture in the skin, reducing dryness, as confirmed by studies of its moisturizing properties (International Journal of Cosmetic Science).
