How should I use Botanic Leaf Honey Sauna Soap in a sauna or shower?

Botanic Leaf Honey Sauna Soap is intended for cleansing the skin in the bath, sauna or shower. In a sauna, it is best used after the skin has warmed up and is fully wet: the hot, humid environment softens the skin surface and helps the cleansing base remove sweat, impurities and excess sebum more effectively.

Apply the soap to wet skin, lather gently, then massage over the body without harsh scrubbing. The formula contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Cocamidopropyl Betaine as cleansing agents, so it is designed to wash away perspiration and oil that build up during heat exposure. Because the product also contains glycerin, honey extract, propolis, linden extract and lactic acid, it is suited to a cleansing step that leaves the skin feeling softer and more comfortable than a purely stripping wash.

Rinse thoroughly with water after use, especially from skin folds and areas where soap can remain. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse well with clean water. If you are using it in a sauna session, you do not need to leave it on for a long time like a mask — it is a soap, so contact during normal washing is enough.

After showering or sauna bathing, gently pat the skin dry rather than rubbing strongly. If your skin is naturally dry or the sauna leaves it feeling tight, apply a body lotion or cream afterwards to support comfort and hydration.
