Black Shungite Bath and Shower Soap 500g is a cosmetic liquid body cleansing soap formulated with shungite (шунгит) — a rare, ancient black carbonaceous mineral from the Shunga deposit in Karelia, Russia — as the principal distinctive cosmetic active. Shungite is a unique natural mineraloid estimated to be approximately two billion years old and composed predominantly of carbon (~98%), with a characteristic layered carbon structure and containing a broad spectrum of natural trace mineral elements. In cosmetic preparations, shungite is valued for its skin-conditioning and antioxidant properties, helping to neutralise free radicals on the skin surface and contributing to the maintenance of a healthy, balanced skin appearance. The soap formula also contains aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis leaf juice), glycerin and gentle cleansing surfactants. Free from aggressive sulphates in the main formula.
