SUSTAMED Mägrarasv consists of 100% rendered badger fat with no other ingredients. Its nutritional value comes from several components.
Liquid badger fat is convenient because it can be taken straight or added to ready meals — porridge, purées or soups once they have been cooked. Adding it to food that is already cooked and not too hot helps preserve the fatty acid profile best: at very high temperatures, any plant or animal fats rich in unsaturated acids can partly change their properties, so there is little point in using this kind of fat for frying.
SUSTAMED badger fat is a dietary supplement for adults, and in most cases it fits well into a normal diet. Nevertheless, there are situations in which it is sensible to consult a specialist before starting to take it, or not to take it at all:
