Tomato purée soup 30 g from Kompas Zdorovja is an instant single-serving soup based on ripe tomatoes. It is designed for people who want a warm, light meal in a few minutes — at the office, while travelling, at the gym or simply when there is no time to cook from scratch. One sachet makes a full bowl: just add hot water, stir and wait a couple of minutes.
The base of the recipe is tomato powder, which keeps the characteristic sweet-tangy flavour and the natural red colour of fresh tomatoes. Tomatoes are a known source of lycopene — a plant pigment from the carotenoid family that gives the fruit its colour and acts as an antioxidant, meaning it helps neutralise free radicals formed in the body during normal metabolism. Lycopene is fat-soluble and is absorbed better from processed tomatoes than from raw ones, so a hot purée soup is a pleasant way to include it in the menu.
How the format works. The ingredients are dried and finely ground, then mixed in balanced proportions.
