Plantain Biogel with Medicinal Herbs is a cosmetic skin care gel formulated with a complex of botanical extracts selected for their skin-conditioning and soothing properties: plantain (Plantago sp.) leaf extract, birch (Betula sp.) bud and leaf extract, and hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) extract. Allantoin — a naturally occurring compound of plant origin that is one of the most well-established skin-conditioning actives in cosmetics — is incorporated as a key active to support skin surface cell renewal and to contribute to a smoother, softer skin feel. The gel forms a light, protective film on the skin surface when applied, which contributes to skin comfort during the skin's natural restoration process. Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) is used as a film-forming agent; the gel base contains glycerin as a humectant.
