Horst Nuluokkad 50 g is a dried herbal product made from Siberian fir needles. People usually choose fir needles when they want a warming forest-herb infusion or an aromatic plant bath with a fresh conifer scent. In folk herbal practice across Siberia and Eastern Europe, fir has long been valued for its resinous aroma and for the naturally occurring plant compounds found in the needles.
Fir needles contain natural vitamin C, beta-carotene, essential oils such as alpha-pinene, limonene and bornyl acetate, as well as phytoncides and trace minerals. In simple terms, essential oils are the fragrant volatile substances that give fir its characteristic “forest” smell. When used as an infusion or bath additive, these compounds create a refreshing, warming sensory effect. Beta-carotene is a plant pigment known as a precursor of vitamin A, while phytoncides are aromatic protective substances produced by plants themselves. Together, these components make dried fir needles interesting not just as a herbal tea, but also as a traditional botanical ingredient for seasonal use.
What makes this product appealing is its simplicity: one single botanical ingredient, with no blends and no added flavours. That can suit people who prefer classic herbs in a loose form and want flexibility in how they use them. A fir needle infusion may fit colder months, while a bath prepared from the needles can be a pleasant option after long outdoor walks, physically active days, or whenever you want a more grounding herbal ritual at home.
Because this is a concentrated aromatic herb, it is worth using thoughtfully. If you are sensitive to conifer resins or essential oils, start cautiously or avoid use. Fir needle products are also not recommended during pregnancy. As with other herbal food supplements, it is best to choose them as part of a varied diet and sensible lifestyle rather than as a replacement for either.
