The water should not boil. Lamp operating time: from 20 minutes to 2 hours. Do not leave a burning lamp unattended. Add water as needed.

Aroma pendant: Pour 3-5 drops of oil or a mixture of oils into an aroma pendant and wear it around your neck throughout the day.

Aromatic baths. Fill the bathtub with water at a comfortable temperature. Stir the essential oil into the base (sea salt, milk, kefir) in the following proportions:

• For a full bath – 8 drops for general strengthening, 10-13 for healing

• For a sitz bath – 2 drops for restorative, 4 for health-improving

• For hands and feet – 4 drops of oil per container.

Bath time is 10-20 minutes.

Compresses. Dissolve up to 5 drops of essential oil or a mixture of oils in the base (as for baths) in 1 glass of water. Moisten a cotton cloth with this solution and apply it to the desired location for 2 hours. Water for compresses for rheumatic, muscle or joint pain should be hot (40-45 C). Cover with film and hold until compared with body temperature. After the compress has cooled, remove the film, wipe with a dry towel and wrap in a dry and warm cloth to retain heat.

Cold compresses are made with chilled water or ice. Help with headaches (place on the forehead or back of the head), sprains, swelling and bruises.

Massage and rubbing. Stir essential oil (3-5 drops per 10 ml) into vegetable cosmetic oil or cream, apply to the skin, then massage in accordance with the condition of the body.

Enrichment of shampoos, shower gels, creams: add 2-3 drops of oil or mixture of oils per 10-15 grams of enriched product.

Customer Questions
How do I use cinnamon essential oil safely on my skin, and what's a good dilution ratio?
Cinnamon essential oil is highly concentrated and can cause skin irritation if used undiluted. The safest approach is to always mix it with a carrier oil, such as jojoba, almond, or coconut oil, before any skin application. A standard starting dilution is 1-2 drops of cinnamon essential oil per 30 ml (or roughly one ounce) of carrier oil. For a smaller amount, like a single-use massage blend, you could add 1 drop to a teaspoon of carrier oil. This ensures the warming, stimulating sensation is pleasant and not overwhelming or irritating. Before using any new blend, perform a patch test by applying a small amount to the inside of your forearm and waiting 24 hours to check for any adverse reaction. This is particularly important for those with sensitive or reactive skin. When creating body blends intended for areas that feel tense or sluggish, this dilution provides a safe level of potency. Remember to avoid applying the oil near the eyes, mouth, or other sensitive mucous membranes, and wash your hands after handling the pure oil to prevent accidental contact.
What are the best ways to use cinnamon oil in an aromatherapy diffuser, and which other oils does it blend well with?
For use in an ultrasonic or heat-based diffuser, add 2-4 drops of cinnamon essential oil to the water reservoir, following your device's specific instructions. Its rich, spicy scent is potent, so starting with a lower number of drops is wise—you can always add more. This method is effective for freshening indoor air, creating an uplifting atmosphere, and supporting an evening wind-down ritual. The oil's volatile aromatic compounds disperse quickly, making a noticeable sensory impact through smell, which is why it's especially popular in colder months or when a room feels stale.Cinnamon oil blends beautifully with other essential oils to create more complex scents. As noted, it is often paired in winter compositions with citrus oils like sweet orange or bergamot, which add a bright, cheerful top note. It also complements other spicy oils like clove for an even deeper, warming character. For a fresh, clean twist, some users combine it with a drop of eucalyptus. When creating a diffuser mix, a common ratio is one part cinnamon to two parts of a sweeter or brighter oil to balance its intensity. These blends can help transform the character of a room, moving from a heavy, stagnant feel to one associated with warmth, focus, and inner energy.
Can I use this oil to make a natural insect-discouraging spray, and how effective is it?
Cinnamon essential oil is often included in homemade insect-discouraging blends because many insects find its strong, spicy scent unpleasant. It can be used as part of a broader strategy, not as a sole guarantee of protection. To make a room or surface spray, combine it with other oils known for similar properties, such as citronella, lemongrass, or peppermint. A typical recipe might involve adding 10-15 drops total of your chosen essential oil blend to about 30 ml of water and 15 ml of witch hazel or vodka (to help the oils disperse) in a spray bottle. Shake well before each use and spray around window sills, doorways, or outdoor seating areas. It's important to manage expectations: the oil creates an aromatic barrier that may discourage insects from settling in a treated area, but its potency diminishes as the scent dissipates, requiring reapplication. It is not a registered insecticide and will not eliminate an existing infestation. This use aligns with the oil's strong, concentrated character—a few drops are enough to change the scent profile of a space significantly. Always test the spray on a small, inconspicuous area of fabric or surface first to ensure it doesn't cause staining or damage.

AromaSaules Cinnamon Essential Oil is a warming, spicy essential oil used in home aromatherapy, body blends and seasonal air freshening. People usually choose cinnamon oil for its rich scent, uplifting atmosphere and strong, concentrated character. In fragrance practice, cinnamon is often associated with a feeling of warmth, focus and inner energy, so it is especially popular in colder months or when a room feels stale and heavy.

What makes it special

The main value of a cinnamon essential oil lies in its volatile aromatic compounds. These plant substances spread quickly through the air and create a noticeable sensory effect through smell, while in diluted body applications they give a warming, stimulating feel on the skin. What makes this type of product special is its potency: a few drops are enough to noticeably change the scent of a room or the character of a cosmetic oil blend. Cinnamon has a long history in traditional aromatic use as a spice associated with warmth, vitality and sensuality.

When and how people use it

In modern use, it suits people who enjoy expressive, spicy essential oils rather than light floral notes. It is often added to:

  • Massage blends intended for areas that feel tense or sluggish, for a warming, stimulating feel.
  • Diffuser mixes to freshen indoor air and support an evening wind-down ritual.
  • Insect-discouraging blends, since the intense spice aroma is not pleasant for many of them.
  • Winter compositions, paired with citrus, clove or orange oils.

Important notes and cautions

This oil is best suited for experienced essential oil users or for those ready to dilute it carefully before skin application. Cinnamon essential oil can be intense and may irritate sensitive skin or mucous membranes if used too strongly. Keep these points in mind:

  • Always use it diluted.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Be cautious during pregnancy, for very reactive skin, or when using it for children.
  • If you are prone to sensitivity, a patch test is a sensible first step.
