Product Overview
REVI NATURE PHARMA Ninasalv Mentool ja Eukalüpt 6 ml is a nose ointment designed for the skin around the nostrils during a cold season, in dry indoor air, or whenever the area feels irritated from frequent wiping. People usually choose this kind of balm when they want a simple topical product that helps breathing feel easier while also protecting the skin from dryness and chafing.
Key Components
- Menthol creates a cooling sensation and gives a clearer, fresher feeling when inhaled, which many people find helpful when the nose feels blocked.
- Eucalyptus oil is traditionally used in aromatic balms for the same reason: its vapour brings a clean, open sensation around the nose.
- Shea butter and jojoba wax form a soft protective layer that helps reduce roughness and moisture loss.
- Vitamin E is included for its skin-conditioning role.
Base Ingredients and Format
The small 6 ml format is convenient for a bag, school backpack, office drawer or travel kit, so it is easy to keep on hand in colder months. The base of the ointment combines shea butter, jojoba wax, and vitamin E to create a protective and moisturizing layer for the skin under and around the nostrils.
Usage and Suitability
This menthol and eucalyptus balm may suit adults, children, and people with sensitive skin who prefer a gentle warming and soothing product for the nose area rather than a strong rub for the chest. Apply only as directed and avoid the eyes, lips, and the inside of the nose. If the skin is very reactive, or if you are choosing it for a very young child, it is sensible to check tolerance first and ask a pharmacist or healthcare professional if unsure.
Important Notes
- Do not apply to sensitive areas like the eyes or lips.
- Test tolerance before use for very young children or sensitive skin.
- Consult a pharmacist or healthcare professional if unsure about suitability.

Customer Questions
The product is intended for external use only: it is applied to the skin around the wings of the nose and under the nose, but not to the mucous membrane inside. This is important to bear in mind, especially if you are used to drops or sprays – the principle of action here is different.
A classic inhaler stick or balm stick is intended primarily for inhaling the aroma – it is held to the nose but, as a rule, is not applied to the skin. The ointment works differently: it stays on the skin, moisturising and softening it at the same time, and still gives the same cooling effect of menthol and eucalyptus with every breath.
The product is stated to be suitable for children and people with sensitive skin; no specific age threshold is given, and menthol and essential oils – eucalyptus oil in particular – traditionally call for caution when used on small children. Paediatricians, as a rule, do not recommend products with menthol for children under 2 years, and in some cases under 6 years, since high concentrations of menthol can cause undesirable reactions in the airways of small children.
