Mango butter is a natural vegetable fat extracted from the kernel of the mango fruit, native to tropical South Asia, and contains a balanced composition of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids (stearic, oleic and palmitic) with natural antioxidants; in cosmetics it is widely valued for its rich emollient properties, contributing to a restored hydrolipid skin barrier and a plumped, velvety skin feel.
