Mono Love BIO Coco-Shea Bolama Body Cream-Sorbet is a cosmetic body moisturising cream with a delicate melting sorbet texture, formulated with shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii) and coconut oil (Cocos nucifera) as the two primary nourishing actives, supplemented by vitamin E (tocopherol). Shea butter is a natural vegetable fat extracted from the nuts of the African shea tree, grown in the savannah belt of West and Central Africa; it is one of the most extensively used plant butters in cosmetics for its rich composition of oleic and stearic fatty acids, lupeol, allantoin and vitamin E, contributing intensively to skin nourishment, moisture retention and a silky skin feel. Coconut oil provides medium-chain fatty acids (lauric, caprylic, capric) and natural antioxidants, which contribute to the hydrolipid balance of the skin. Vitamin E (tocopherol) provides additional antioxidant protection and nourishment. The formula maintains the natural pH balance of the skin, contributing to gentle, protective daily body care. The light sorbet texture absorbs quickly without leaving a heavy, sticky residue.

A cream-sorbet is a middle option on the texture scale. Body lotions are mostly water-based, spread very easily and absorb almost instantly, but on genuinely dry skin their effect can feel short-lived. Body butters sit at the other extreme: they are dense, oil-rich, take time to massage in and often leave a film that some people find sticky, especially under clothes or in warm weather.
The single most useful habit with any body moisturiser, including this one, is applying it within a few minutes of showering or bathing. Skin that is still slightly damp holds more water, and emollients like shea butter and coconut oil work partly by slowing that water from evaporating — so applying to damp skin locks in more moisture than applying to fully dry skin hours later.
The formula is built on well-known emollients — shea butter, coconut oil and vitamin E — which are common in body care and generally well tolerated. That said, sensitivity is individual: any cosmetic ingredient, including natural plant butters and oils, can occasionally trigger a reaction in a particular person.
