When and how should I apply it for the best results?

The single most useful habit with any body moisturiser, including this one, is applying it within a few minutes of showering or bathing. Skin that is still slightly damp holds more water, and emollients like shea butter and coconut oil work partly by slowing that water from evaporating — so applying to damp skin locks in more moisture than applying to fully dry skin hours later.

A practical routine:

  • Pat skin with a towel rather than rubbing it completely dry.
  • Warm a small amount of the cream-sorbet between your palms — the texture melts easily — and spread it in smooth strokes.
  • Give extra attention to areas that dry out fastest: shins, elbows, forearms, knees and heels. A second thin layer there works better than one thick layer everywhere.

Beyond the post-shower moment, it is useful whenever skin feels tight or looks flaky: during cold seasons when indoor heating dries the air, after a day in the sun when skin feels dehydrated, or after frequent hand and forearm washing. Since it absorbs quickly, you generally don't need a long wait before dressing — a minute or two is usually enough. There is no need to use large amounts; the shea and coconut base is concentrated enough that a modest layer covers well, which also helps the 150 ml tube last longer.
