It combines hydrating, softening and cleansing ingredients, so it can suit areas prone to redness, minor discomfort after shaving, friction, or occasional blemishes. The gel texture spreads easily, absorbs relatively quickly and leaves less heaviness than a dense balm.
Its action comes from several groups of components working together. Glycerol helps attract water to the upper layers of the skin, which improves softness and reduces the feeling of tightness. Lactic acid is a mild exfoliating and moisture-binding ingredient: in low-strength leave-on formulas it helps loosen rough surface cells and keeps the skin smoother and more even.
