Iodine Solution 2.5% is a topical antiseptic solution in pencil applicator format (5 ml), containing 2.5% iodine in an ethanol-based solution. Iodine is a classic halogen antiseptic that has been used in first aid and wound care for over 150 years. The pencil applicator format provides a convenient, portable and mess-free means of applying iodine solution precisely to small skin areas. The 2.5% concentration is an intermediate-strength iodine preparation. For external topical use on skin only. Follow all instructions on the product label carefully.

WARNINGS: For external skin use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes — rinse with water immediately if contact occurs. Flammable (alcohol base). Do not use on large skin areas. Do not use on open wounds. Stains skin and fabrics. Keep away from open flame. Not a cosmetic product. Keep out of reach of children.
