Iodine Solution 2.5% is a topical antiseptic solution in pencil applicator format (5 ml), containing 2.5% iodine in an ethanol-based solution. Iodine is a classic halogen antiseptic that has been used in first aid and wound care for over 150 years. The pencil applicator format provides a convenient, portable and mess-free means of applying iodine solution precisely to small skin areas. The 2.5% concentration is an intermediate-strength iodine preparation. For external topical use on skin only. Follow all instructions on the product label carefully.
