Inhalation Mixture is an aromatic liquid preparation for use in steam inhalations, formulated from a combination of racemic menthol, eucalyptus tincture, and ethyl alcohol as its three active aromatic components. The 40 ml flask format is designed for home use with a standard steam inhalator or by adding a small quantity to a bowl of hot water for open-steam inhalation. When added to warm steam, the preparation releases a powerful, intensely fresh, camphoraceous-menthol and eucalyptus aromatic cloud that delivers the characteristic cooling, fresh, strongly aromatic sensation of menthol and eucalyptus to the nasal and oral passages during inhalation.
Racemic menthol (a mixture of L- and D-menthol isomers) provides a strong cooling and refreshing aromatic note with the familiar characteristic minty-cool sensation. Eucalyptus tincture contributes the sharp, penetrating, woody-green aromatic character of Eucalyptus globulus essential oil components (1,8-cineole/eucalyptol being the dominant volatile compound). Ethyl alcohol serves as the solvent and carrier for the aromatic components, ensuring even distribution when added to steam. The preparation is intended for aromatic steam inhalation use only and is not for oral consumption.

How it works

- Racemic menthol creates the characteristic cooling feeling. It does not literally lower the temperature of the airways; instead, it interacts with cold-sensitive receptors, which is why breathing can feel fresher and lighter.
- Eucalyptus tincture adds a sharp, resinous aroma rich in compounds naturally present in eucalyptus, especially eucalyptol.

Planeta Zdorovia Inhalation Mixture is formulated exclusively for use in steam inhalation. It is not a food supplement and must never be swallowed. The liquid contains ethyl alcohol and concentrated volatile aromatic components, including racemic menthol and eucalyptus tincture, which are intended to evaporate into the air, not to be consumed.
Due to the presence of concentrated aromatic substances and ethyl alcohol, this inhalation mixture is not recommended for use near infants or young children under 2 years of age. The volatile compounds, particularly menthol and eucalyptus, can be too intense for the developing respiratory systems of very young children and may cause adverse reactions.
The effect of this inhalation mixture comes from a specific combination of volatile aromatic components that dissolve evenly in hot water due to the ethyl alcohol base. This ensures a consistent release of vapour.
