Mirrolla Cosmetic Macadamia Oil 25ml is a cosmetic oil preparation from Mirrolla (Russia), combining macadamia nut oil (Macadamia integrifolia) with propolis as the cosmetic actives, in a convenient 25 ml bottle for cosmetic skin and hair care. Macadamia oil (Macadamia integrifolia / Macadamia tetraphylla) is the oil extracted from the seeds of the macadamia nut tree, native to Australia. It is one of the most cosmetically luxurious and nutrient-rich plant oils: macadamia oil is exceptionally high in palmitoleic acid (omega-7 fatty acid, 16–23%), which is a major component of the skin's own lipid structure and is found in relatively few plant oils in such high concentrations. This affinity with the skin's own lipid composition makes macadamia oil particularly suitable for dry, dehydrated and mature skin care. It also has a pleasant, mild, slightly nutty aroma. Propolis adds complementary cosmetic skin-conditioning properties. Apply with massaging movements to dry, irritated or mature skin or to hair. Can be used as a base oil for cosmetic massage blends. 25 ml.

This is a pure oil, so the amount you start with matters more than with a lotion. For the face, begin with two or three drops. Warm the oil between your palms, then press it onto slightly damp skin instead of rubbing it in. Dampness helps it spread more evenly and can make the finish feel less heavy. If you apply it after a shower or facial cleansing, do it while the skin is still a little moist.
The same "start small" rule applies to hair. Rub one or two drops between your palms so the oil is no longer sitting in one spot, then gently press or smooth it over the lengths, especially the ends. This helps the oil distribute evenly instead of leaving visible greasy patches. For long or thick hair you may need a second drop, but it is easier to add more than to wash out too much.
