Befungin – Chaga liquid concentrate

Befungin is a liquid extract based on chaga (Inonotus obliquus) — a parasitic fungus that grows on birch trunks in the northern forests of Europe and Russia. For centuries chaga has been valued in Northern and Eastern European folk traditions as a forest remedy: people brewed it as a dark, slightly bitter tea and used it as a tonic. The fungus accumulates melanin pigments, polyphenols, betulinic acid derivatives from birch bark, and triterpenes, along with polysaccharides such as beta-glucans.
