Vitateka castor oil is Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, intended for the external care of skin and hair, including the skin around the nails. It is chosen when the skin lacks softness and comfort, hair looks dry or brittle, and the cuticles and nail plates need more nourishing care.
For the skin, it is best to apply castor oil in a thin layer to a clean, dry area. A small amount is enough: the oil is thick, so if you use too much it may stay sticky or greasy for a long time. It is convenient to apply it to specific dry areas — around the nails, on the elbows, knees, heels or other areas where there is flaking and a feeling of tightness.
For dry and brittle hair, castor oil can be used as a pre-wash treatment. Apply a small amount to the lengths or ends, spread it with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb and leave it on for a while, then wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo. If your hair is fine or quickly loses volume, start with the ends only: this makes it easier to judge whether this texture suits you.
