Vitamir Aevit is a dietary supplement providing both vitamin A (retinol, as retinyl acetate) and vitamin E (tocopherol, as tocopheryl acetate) in enteric-coated tablets. The combination of vitamins A and E — known as "Aevit" in Russian pharmacology tradition — is one of the most classic supplement combinations in Eastern European pharmacy. Both vitamins are fat-soluble and work synergistically: vitamin E acts as the primary lipid-soluble antioxidant in cell membranes and simultaneously protects vitamin A from oxidation, while vitamin A supports various functions including normal vision, skin health and immune function.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress; vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, normal vision and the normal function of the immune system — all authorised EU health claims under EC Regulation 432/2012. The tablets are coated for easy swallowing. Tablet weight: 450 mg. 30 tablets per pack.
