AltaiBio Sea Buckthorn and Propolis Toothpaste is a cosmetic daily oral hygiene toothpaste from the AltaiBio natural dental care range, formulated with sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) oil and propolis (bee resin) as the two principal natural actives. Sea buckthorn oil is an exceptionally rich source of carotenoids including beta-carotene, lycopene and rare sea buckthorn-specific palmitoleic acid (omega-7), as well as vitamins C and E, contributing to the nourishing and conditioning of the oral mucosa. Propolis (bee resin) is a complex natural resin collected by honeybees from tree buds and bark, composed of flavonoids (primarily pinocembrin and chrysin), phenolic acids, terpenoids and wax. In oral hygiene cosmetics, propolis is valued for its complex botanical flavonoid composition. The AltaiBio range is formulated without antibiotics. The formula contains no allergen-level concentrations of harsh chemical actives and is suitable for systematic daily tooth and gum care.
