BAD GIRL Star in Shock is a semi-permanent cosmetic hair colour product in shade Fuchsia — an intense, saturated warm-pink-magenta shade designed for those who know their worth. BAD GIRL is a range of ammonia-free, peroxide-free direct hair colour products that use pre-formed direct pigment dyes to deposit intense, vivid colour onto the outer cuticle surface of the hair, without any oxidative chemical reaction. This means: no PPD (p-phenylenediamine), no resorcinol, no oxidation chemistry — the colour is applied directly, ready to use, with no mixing required. Fuchsia is a hot, electric warm-pink shade that creates a bold, vibrant statement. The formula contains a keratin complex for smoothing the hair surface and controlling frizz, vitamin E for antioxidant conditioning and linseed oil for moisturising and shine enhancement. The direct pigment deposits onto the cuticle and lasts up to 100 days / over 10 washes; the colour remains vibrant even after hot water washing and does not transfer onto clothing or bedding once the hair is dry. The shade intensity is variable — deeper, more saturated results are achieved on lighter, pre-lightened or blonde/grey hair; on darker base hair, the shade provides a tonal reflective overlay. 150 ml applicator bottle.
⚠ Colour result may vary from packaging image. Use gloves during application. Patch test before first use.

What it is
Bad Girl Star in Shock Fuchsia is a semi-permanent direct hair colour for anyone who wants a vivid warm pink-magenta result without classic oxidative dyeing. People usually choose this type of hair tint when they want bold colour, visible shine and a simpler colouring process, because the formula is ready to use and does not rely on ammonia or peroxide.
How the colour works
The colour works through direct pigments. These are pre-formed colour molecules that coat the outer layer of the hair rather than developing inside the hair through an oxidation reaction. In practice, this means the shade can look bright and expressive while the process feels gentler than permanent dyeing. On blonde, grey or pre-lightened hair, the fuchsia tone usually appears richer and more intense. On darker hair, it tends to show as a pink-magenta reflection rather than a full opaque transformation.
Key components
What makes this formula more interesting than a basic colour mask is the addition of:
- Keratin — helps smooth the hair surface, so strands can feel less rough and look more polished.
- Vitamin E — valued in hair cosmetics for its antioxidant role and conditioning effect.
- Linseed oil — helps soften the hair fibre and adds gloss, which is especially useful when bright shades need a smoother base to reflect light well.
Because the pigments sit on the cuticle, the result gradually fades with washing instead of growing out with a sharp regrowth line.
When people choose it
This kind of product suits people who like to:
- refresh pre-lightened lengths;
- add a statement shade for an event;
- experiment without committing to permanent colour;
- give faded fashion colour a stronger tone between salon visits.
It can also work for selected sections, such as ends or accent strands, if a full-head result feels too dramatic.
Important notes
As with any vivid hair colour, the final result depends strongly on your starting shade and hair porosity, so the pack image is only a guide.
- Do a patch test before first use.
- Wear gloves during application.
- Keep in mind that fresh pigment can stain skin and porous surfaces.
- If your scalp is sensitive or your hair is heavily damaged, it is sensible to proceed cautiously.

Customer Questions
Because this is a direct pigment that coats the hair surface rather than penetrating the cortex, the starting shade determines everything. On blonde, grey, or pre-lightened hair (level 9–10), the fuchsia typically appears rich, saturated, and close to the pack image. On light brown to medium brown hair, you will see a noticeable pink-magenta sheen in sunlight or bright light, but not an opaque colour change. On dark brown or black hair, the effect is a subtle warm reflection visible mainly in direct light. Porosity also matters: overly porous ends grab more pigment and can turn darker or cooler, while resistant, low-porosity hair may take the tone unevenly. A strand test on a hidden section is the only reliable way to preview the result on your own hair.
Direct dyes wash out progressively rather than growing out. On pre-lightened hair the vivid tone usually stays strong for about 6–8 shampoos, then softens to a pastel pink that can linger for several more washes. On darker bases the reflective sheen disappears sooner, often within 3–5 washes. Factors that accelerate fading: hot water, clarifying or sulphate-heavy shampoos, frequent heat styling, and UV exposure. To extend wear, wash with cool water, use a colour-safe sulphate-free shampoo, limit heat, and consider a colour-depositing conditioner in a similar pink tone between applications. Because there is no ammonia or peroxide, re-application is safe whenever the colour fades — no need to wait for regrowth.
The three care ingredients work on the surface while the pigment deposits. Keratin fills microscopic gaps in the cuticle, helping the colour coat more uniformly and reducing the rough, straw-like feel that can follow intense pigment deposition. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant that protects the hair lipids from oxidative stress during the colouring process and adds a light conditioning film. Linseed oil, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, lubricates the fibre and boosts gloss, which is especially useful for fashion shades that rely on light reflection to look vibrant. Together they make the application feel more like a treatment mask than a raw dye, but they do not rebuild broken disulfide bonds or reverse chemical damage — think of them as cosmetic support, not structural repair.
Wear the nitrile gloves provided (or buy a box) — latex can degrade with prolonged contact. Apply a thick layer of petroleum jelly or a dedicated barrier cream along the hairline, ears, and nape before starting; this prevents the intense fuchsia from staining skin, which can take days to fade. Cover countertops, sinks, and towels with disposable cape or plastic sheeting; the pigment penetrates grout, laminate, and fabric instantly. Perform a patch test 48 hours before first use: dab a pea-sized amount behind the ear or on the inner forearm, leave 30 minutes, rinse, and watch for redness, itching, or swelling. If your scalp is sensitive, scratched, or you have active dermatitis, postpone use until the skin barrier is intact. Rinse the colour with cool water until the runoff runs clear — warm water opens the cuticle and washes out more pigment.
