What colour result can I realistically expect on my current hair shade?

Because this is a direct pigment that coats the hair surface rather than penetrating the cortex, the starting shade determines everything. On blonde, grey, or pre-lightened hair (level 9–10), the fuchsia typically appears rich, saturated, and close to the pack image. On light brown to medium brown hair, you will see a noticeable pink-magenta sheen in sunlight or bright light, but not an opaque colour change. On dark brown or black hair, the effect is a subtle warm reflection visible mainly in direct light. Porosity also matters: overly porous ends grab more pigment and can turn darker or cooler, while resistant, low-porosity hair may take the tone unevenly. A strand test on a hidden section is the only reliable way to preview the result on your own hair.
