Evalar Stimmunal is a food supplement from the Evalar phytotherapy brand, providing an extract of cat's claw bark (Uncaria tomentosa) in a slow-dissolving lozenge (buccal tablet) format. Uncaria tomentosa ("cat's claw," "uña de gato") is a large woody vine from the Rubiaceae family, native to the tropical rainforests of the Amazon basin and Central America, named for its distinctive hook-shaped thorns (resembling cat's claws) that the plant uses for climbing. The bark and root bark of Uncaria tomentosa contain a complex mixture of alkaloids — principally oxindole alkaloids (mitraphylline, isomitraphylline, rhynchophylline, pteropodine, isopteropodine and speciophylline) — along with tannins (proanthocyanidins), quinovic acid glycosides, phytosterols and polyphenols, providing the characteristic phytochemical profile of this botanical. The lozenge format allows the tablet to dissolve slowly in the buccal cavity, which facilitates direct mucosal absorption of the active compounds. Formulated without dyes. COMPOSITION: Microcrystalline Cellulose (carrier), Cat's Claw Bark Extract (Uncaria Tomentosa), Croscarmellose (carrier), Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and Glycerol (thickeners), Calcium Stearate and Amorphous Silicon Dioxide (anticaking agents). No dyes.

USE: Adults and children from 14 years: 2 lozenges once per day with a meal. If needed, may take up to 4 lozenges per day (maximum). Dissolve in the mouth; do not chew or swallow whole. Recommended course: 1 month.
