KorolevFarm ZOZh Heel Cream with Salicylic Acid for Calluses and Corns is a cosmetic foot care cream formulated with salicylic acid as the principal keratolytic active, targeting the appearance and texture of hard, thickened heel skin including calluses, dry corns and coarse areas. Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) and one of the most clinically established keratolytic cosmetic actives, functioning by solubilising the intercellular lipid matrix that holds together the corneocytes in the stratum corneum, thereby loosening and facilitating the removal of hyperkeratotic (thickened) skin. In foot care cosmetics, salicylic acid at appropriate concentrations is used to soften calluses and facilitate their gradual mechanical removal. The cream format provides comfortable daily application and allows the salicylic acid to work in combination with moisturising and emollient base components to condition the foot skin while the keratolytic action proceeds. 75 ml tube.
