According to the card, the composition is sugar, whole condensed milk with sugar, starch syrup, black food albumin, vanillin, phospholipids and roasted pine nuts. The product is called a classic hematogen for children from 3 years and adults, a source of iron in organic form. The card gives no comparison with ordinary hematogen.
According to the card, the hematogen is not used in case of hypersensitivity to the components; during pregnancy and breastfeeding a doctor's consultation is needed. It is not recommended in diabetes and overweight. The daily amount must not be exceeded: children 3–7 years 20 g a day, 7–14 years 40 g, over 14 years and adults 50 g.
