Fitokosmetik Narodnye Retsepty Black Volcanic Kamchatka Clay 155ml is a cosmetic ready-to-use black clay mask for the face, body and hair, formulated with natural black volcanic clay from the Kamchatka Peninsula as the principal cosmetic active, in a base of green tea infusion (Camellia sinensis leaf water) and organic sweet almond oil (Prunus amygdalus dulcis). Black volcanic clay from Kamchatka is derived from volcanic rock deposits of the Kamchatka volcanic arc — one of the most volcanically active regions on Earth. The black colouration comes from the high content of volcanic minerals and organic matter absorbed during the geological formation process. In cosmetics, volcanic clay is valued for its intensive deep-cleansing properties: its highly adsorptive mineral structure effectively draws out excess sebum, impurities and environmental residues from the pores, contributing to a visibly cleaner, smoother and tighter-looking skin surface. The organic almond oil in the base provides emollient skin conditioning and prevents the formula from being over-drying. Caprylic/capric triglycerides and glycerin maintain skin softness. Xanthan gum provides the formulation's smooth, even texture. 155 ml.

USE: Apply to clean skin of the face, body or scalp. Leave as a mask for 5–15 minutes; as a body wrap (covered with film) for 20–30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water.

For the face, apply a thin, even layer to clean, damp skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave it on for 10–15 minutes or until it starts to feel tight, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use once or twice a week on combination or oil-prone skin, focusing on the T-zone if that area tends to get shiny.
The mask contains organic sweet almond oil, glycerin, and caprylic/capric triglycerides specifically to reduce the drying effect typical of pure clay masks. Green tea infusion serves as the water phase and adds a soothing feel. However, the core action — absorbing excess sebum and binding surface impurities — is inherently purifying, which can still feel stripping on very dry or compromised barriers.
In this mask, green tea infusion is used as the water phase instead of plain water. That means the entire liquid portion of the product carries the soluble compounds from green tea — primarily polyphenols such as catechins (including EGCG) — which are widely studied for their antioxidant and soothing properties in cosmetic formulations.
For combination or oil-prone facial skin, once or twice a week is a typical cadence. If you notice persistent tightness, flaking, or increased sensitivity, drop to once every 10–14 days. The sweet almond oil and glycerin help, but clay is still a physical absorbent — frequent use can reduce surface lipids below what your barrier needs.
