OstroVit Vitamin D3 4000 IU + K2 MK-7 is a food supplement that combines two fat-soluble vitamins in one tablet. Vitamin D3 contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, maintenance of normal blood calcium levels and the normal function of bones, teeth and muscles. Vitamin K2 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal blood clotting.
One tablet contains 100 µg of vitamin D3 (4000 IU) and 100 µg of vitamin K2 in the form of menaquinone-7 (MK-7), obtained from the Bacillus subtilis natto bacterium. Vitamin D also contributes to the normal function of the immune system and has a role in the process of cell division.
This is a food supplement with a high vitamin D content, which according to the manufacturer's recommendation is intended for people over 75 years of age. Before use, it is recommended to check the vitamin D level in the blood and consult a doctor or pharmacist. The pack contains 110 tablets.

INGREDIENTS: bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, starch, cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), menaquinone-7 MK-7 (vitamin K2, obtained from the Bacillus subtilis natto bacterium), anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide.
The product is manufactured in a facility where ingredients derived from milk (including lactose), soy, peanuts, nuts, cereals containing gluten, eggs, crustaceans and fish are used.
RECOMMENDED DAILY INTAKE AND DOSAGE: For people over 75 years of age, 1 tablet per day with food. Before use, it is recommended to determine the blood level of 25(OH)D and consult a doctor or pharmacist regarding the results.

- Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) - 100 µg / 4000 IU (2000% NRV)
- Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7, MK-7) - 100 µg (133% NRV)

WARNINGS: The product is intended for people over 75 years of age. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Do not use together with anticoagulants belonging to the group of vitamin K antagonists (for example warfarin and acenocoumarol). The product is not intended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. One tablet contains 100 µg of vitamin D (4000 IU), which corresponds to the established upper daily intake level for adults. If using other food supplements containing vitamin D at the same time, consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. It is important to maintain a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

OstroVit Vitamin D3 4000 IU + K2 combines two fat-soluble vitamins that complement each other particularly well when it comes to bones and calcium metabolism. One tablet contains a high dose of vitamin D3 - 4000 IU, while vitamin K2 is provided in the form of menaquinone-7, or MK-7.
Vitamin D3 helps the body absorb calcium and phosphorus normally, supports the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, muscle function and the immune system. It becomes especially relevant in autumn and winter, when there is much less sunlight and the natural production of vitamin D in the skin decreases.
But calcium needs not only to be absorbed properly. This is where vitamin K2 comes in. It contributes to the function of proteins involved in maintaining normal bone tissue. This is why D3 and K2 are so often combined in one formula: the first is associated with calcium absorption and metabolism, while the second is involved in processes in which this mineral is used by the body.
The MK-7 form of vitamin K2 is interesting because it remains in the body longer than some other forms of vitamin K. It is obtained from fermented material using Bacillus subtilis natto, a bacterium associated with the traditional Japanese food natto, one of the best-known natural sources of K2.
Both vitamins are fat-soluble, so it is convenient to take the tablet with food. This format is especially practical when a high dose of D3 is needed without taking vitamin K2 separately: one tablet combines both components, and the pack provides 110 servings.
The D3 dosage here is high, so the manufacturer recommends checking the blood level of 25(OH)D before use and discussing the result with a doctor or pharmacist. If you take anticoagulants, especially vitamin K antagonists, the use of vitamin K2 must be agreed with a healthcare professional.
