Techniques for using essential oils
Oil burner. Ventilate the room, close the windows. Pour warm water into the aroma lamp, drop some essential oil into it (2 drops per 5 m2 of room area). Light a candle under an aroma lamp. The water should not boil. Lamp operating time: from 20 minutes to 2 hours. Do not leave a burning lamp unattended. Add water as needed.
Aroma pendant: Pour 3-5 drops of oil or a mixture of oils into an aroma pendant and wear it around your neck throughout the day.
Aromatic baths. Fill the bathtub with water at a comfortable temperature. Stir the essential oil into the base (sea salt, milk, kefir) in the following proportions:
• For a full bath – 8 drops for general strengthening, 10-13 for healing
• For a sitz bath – 2 drops for restorative, 4 for health-improving
• For hands and feet – 4 drops of oil per container.
Bath time is 10-20 minutes.
Compresses. Dissolve up to 5 drops of essential oil or a mixture of oils in the base (as for baths) in 1 glass of water. Moisten a cotton cloth with this solution and apply it to the desired location for 2 hours. Water for compresses for rheumatic, muscle or joint pain should be hot (40-45 C). Cover with film and hold until compared with body temperature. After the compress has cooled, remove the film, wipe with a dry towel and wrap in a dry and warm cloth to retain heat.
Cold compresses are made with chilled water or ice. Help with headaches (place on the forehead or back of the head), sprains, swelling and bruises.
Massage and rubbing. Stir essential oil (3-5 drops per 10 ml) into vegetable cosmetic oil or cream, apply to the skin, then massage in accordance with the condition of the body.
Enrichment of shampoos, shower gels, creams: add 2-3 drops of oil or mixture of oils per 10-15 grams of enriched product.
As a Perfume, 1 drop on the inside of the wrist or on the inside of the seams of clothing, also on the hair. Spraying 5-20 drops of essential oils (aroma compositions), dissolved in 1 tablespoon of an alcohol-containing product, is added to a spray bottle filled with 1 liter of plain water. AromaSaules Lemon Essential Oil is a concentrated citrus essential oil used in home aromatherapy and cosmetic blends when people want a fresher atmosphere, a lighter mood, or an extra clarifying note in skin and body products. Lemon oil is valued for its bright, clean scent and for the way it makes oil mixtures feel more vivid and energising.
The main active compounds in lemon essential oil are naturally occurring citrus components such as limonene. In aromatherapy, these volatile aromatic molecules are inhaled through the air and are often chosen for a mentally refreshing effect. In topical blends, lemon oil is appreciated for its astringent character: it can make richer formulas feel less heavy and is often added to products intended for skin that looks dull, uneven or prone to excess shine. This is why lemon essential oil is commonly used in massage oils, bath blends, aroma lamps and homemade cosmetic mixes.
What makes this type of product interesting is its versatility. A few drops can change the character of a room, while in a diluted oil or cream blend it adds a sharper, more toning feel. Citrus essential oils have long been used in perfumery, bathing rituals and seasonal home fragrance because their scent is immediately recognisable and easy to combine with other oils such as lavender, tea tree or peppermint.
This essential oil may suit people who enjoy aroma rituals at home, want to freshen indoor air, or like adding citrus notes to body oils and beauty products. It is especially practical when you want one bottle for several scenarios: room fragrance, bath blends, massage bases or cosmetic enrichment. As with all essential oils, it should be used carefully: do not apply undiluted to skin, avoid contact with eyes, and be cautious before sun exposure, as citrus oils may increase photosensitivity in some people. If you have very sensitive skin, are pregnant, or plan to use it for children, it is wise to ask a qualified specialist first.
