The applicator works by pressing a large number of small points against the skin at the same time. In this Planeta Zdorovia model, the yellow discs have double-pointed needles, so each contact spreads over two tips. This follows the “Plum Blossom” idea known from Chinese needle massage: instead of one deep point, the pressure is distributed more evenly, so the contact feels active but less piercing than a single-needle version.
Place the applicator on a firm, flat surface and lower your body onto it. Pressing it with your hands usually gives uneven pressure and can make the sensation unnecessarily strong. Letting your body weight rest on the surface distributes the needles more evenly.
The contact surface combines two elements. The yellow massage discs are the actual pressure points. Each disc has double-pointed needles, so the force is split between two small tips. This is what the product description calls the “Plum Blossom” design: the double-point shape distributes pressure more gently than a single deep point.
Before a session, look at the area where you plan to use the applicator. It should be clean and intact.
