Use the oil after a shower, when the skin is still slightly damp. Damp skin helps the oil spread evenly without leaving a heavy layer. Pour a small amount into your palm, warm it between your hands, and apply it to the body in long, circular massage strokes. For a longer body massage, use a little more oil so your hands glide smoothly; for a quick self-massage, a smaller amount is enough.
Burdock seed oil is a plant-based oil rich in lipids. In this formula, those lipids help reinforce the skin's protective surface, so moisture evaporates less quickly and the skin feels less tight. This makes the oil useful for dry areas, where it supports the skin's own barrier rather than just sitting on top of the skin.
This product is described as a body oil, so it is intended for body massage and for dry areas such as elbows, knees and legs. It is not specifically formulated for facial skin, which is more delicate and can react differently to oils.
