Essential oils should not be applied directly to the skin. Essential oils are added to base oils, enrich cosmetics, and hair products.

Effects on consciousness: it is believed that lavender oil stabilizes the physical, etheric, and astral bodies of a person, which has a beneficial effect on psychological disorders. Also, the oil cleanses and calms the spirit, soothes anger, reduces fatigue, and helps to react more calmly to what is happening. Methods of use:

Aroma lamp: Pour 2-6 tablespoons of warm water into the upper cup of the aroma lamp, add 3-15 drops of pure or mixed essential oils (on average, 1-2 drops per 3 m² of room area), then place a lit candle in the lower cup. Be sure to use only spirit-paraffin candles in a metal container. The session duration is 0.5-1.5 hours, 1-2 times a day, for up to 3 weeks. Aromatherapy is most effective for correcting the psycho-emotional state and overall tone.

Aroma bath: Add 3-7 drops of essential oil to 1-2 tablespoons of emulsifier (sea or table salt, cream, whey, or 1 tablespoon of honey, bath foam, baking soda, or bran), dissolve in 0.5 liters of warm water, and add this mixture to the water in the bathtub. The procedure time is from 5 to 20 minutes. When adding to preventive procedures, do it 1-2 times a week.

Facial steam baths: Pour 0.5-1 liter of hot water (80-90°C) into a wide bowl, add 2-3 drops of essential oil, lean over the steam, cover your head with a towel (close your eyes!), and inhale the aroma calmly for 7-10 minutes.

Masks: Add 1-2 drops of essential oil to 1 tablespoon of base (cosmetic vegetable oil, egg yolk, kefir, yogurt, buttermilk, or honey). Apply the resulting mixture evenly on the skin, wash with warm water, acidified with lemon juice after 3-5 minutes.

Face wash: Add 2-4 drops of essential oil to 500 ml of warm water with 1/3 teaspoon of emulsifier (salt, honey, whey), rinse the face (close your eyes!), and dry with a towel.

Hair care: Add 3-5 drops of essential oil to 1 tablespoon of base vegetable oil, rub this mixture into the scalp or distribute it over the entire length of the hair, wrap the hair with a towel and leave for 1-1.5 hours, then rinse with shampoo.

Massage, anti-cellulite rubbing: Mix 3-5 drops of essential oil with 10-15 ml of base vegetable oil. Rub into problem areas of the skin for 5-10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

Aromatic water for the bath and sauna: Add 5-10 drops of essential oil to 1-2 tablespoons of emulsifier (honey, sea salt, whey, cream), dissolve in 500 ml of water. In saunas, use 1-1.5 liters of aromatic water to pour wooden shelves, soak brooms, and pour a small amount on the stove in the steam room 3-5 minutes before leaving. In saunas, use 200-300 ml of aromatic water, which is placed in a wide-necked bucket on the stove in the steam room, and 3-5 minutes before leaving, you can splash 1-2 tablespoons on the stove, wet wooden shelves, and walls. Procedure time - 3-20 minutes (gradually increase), no more than 1-2 times a week.
