Planeta Zdorovia Kuka Balsam 100 ml is an herbal syrup inspired by the Indian Ayurvedic tradition. People usually choose this kind of botanical blend in colder seasons or at times when the throat feels scratchy and the breathing passages are irritated by dry air, talking a lot or weather changes. The formula combines six plants with different roles, so the taste is layered: sweet from liquorice, fresh from mint, and gently warming from spices.
In plain language, the herbs work in complementary ways. Holy basil, also known as tulsi, is widely used in Indian herbal practice for seasonal balance. Malabar nut is a classic plant in traditional formulas for the airways. Liquorice root is valued for its naturally soft, coating character, which is why it often appears in soothing syrups. Field mint brings menthol freshness, while long pepper and greater galangal add a warming note that helps the blend feel more rounded rather than simply sweet.
What makes this Planeta Zdorovia herbal syrup interesting is not one isolated active, but the combination of cooling, sweet and warming botanicals in a liquid form. A syrup is easy to take, especially when a capsule or tablet feels less convenient, and the texture itself can be pleasant when the throat is under strain. The recipe follows a long-established herbal idea seen in South Asian plant traditions: combine aromatic herbs, roots and spices so that no single note dominates too sharply.
Kuka Balsam may suit adults and children over 2 years when a mild herbal option is preferred at home, during travel, in the office, or in periods of seasonal change. It fits well for those who appreciate traditional plant-based products and want a syrup rather than lozenges or tea. Because it contains sugar, it is not suitable for people with diabetes. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, giving it to a young child, or have sensitivity to herbs such as liquorice or mint, it is sensible to ask a healthcare professional before use.
