This means it can deliver noticeable moisture without leaving a greasy film on the palms. To get that result, use about a pea-sized amount, massage it into the back of the hands, knuckles and cuticles, and rub until the cream disappears. A short pause of one or two minutes before starting work will help any remaining residue settle in.
If you prefer to avoid any slippery feeling altogether, apply a smaller amount more often rather than one thick layer. For very dry hands, a slightly larger amount at night works well because the product has time to absorb while you sleep.
