I have sensitive skin and have reacted to lanolin before. Can I use this hand cream?

If you have a known allergy or past reaction to lanolin, this hand cream is not an obvious choice because lanolin is one of the ingredients in the formula. It acts as an emollient and helps slow down water loss, but for someone with a lanolin sensitivity it can cause irritation. If you are unsure whether you are sensitive, or if your skin is generally very reactive, do a patch test before using the product on your hands. Apply a small amount to the inside of your forearm and wait 24 hours. If redness, itching or stinging appears, stop using the product.
