"HIMALAYA" gentle exfoliating apricot face scrub helps remove dead skin cells and impurities from the surface of the skin. Apricot seed and walnut shell particles exfoliate the skin, while wheat germ oil helps care for it.
The wheat germ oil in the formula is a natural source of vitamin E. Apple extract and plant oils help leave the skin feeling soft, smooth and well cared for after use.

USE: Gently massage onto damp skin of the face and neck with the fingertips using circular motions, avoiding the eye area. Rinse with water and gently pat the skin dry. Use 2-3 times a week.

HIMALAYA Gentle Apricot Scrub is a mechanical exfoliant for skin that has become dull, rough or does not respond as well to regular skincare. The formula contains apricot kernel and walnut shell particles: during massage, they physically remove excess dead skin cells and impurities from the skin surface. As a result, the face looks smoother and fresher, and the skin feels more pleasant to the touch.
Why is a scrub needed at all? The cells of the upper skin layer are constantly renewed and gradually shed naturally, but this process does not always happen evenly. Sebum, cosmetic residues and dead skin cells can accumulate on the surface, making the skin texture look less even and reducing its natural radiance. Gentle mechanical exfoliation helps remove this surface layer more quickly and literally "polish" the skin's microtexture.
But a good scrub should do more than exfoliate. Here, the abrasive particles are complemented by wheat germ oil, which is rich in vitamin E and fatty acids. In cosmetics, vitamin E is valued as an antioxidant, while plant oils help soften the skin and reduce the feeling of dryness after cleansing. Apple extract adds organic acids and polyphenols, which are often used in formulas designed to give the skin a fresher and more cared-for appearance.
This scrub is especially useful before a mask, a rich cream or simply when the face looks "tired" and you want to quickly restore smoothness. After removing excess dead skin cells, skincare products spread more evenly over the surface, and the skin itself looks more refined.
It is enough to use the scrub 2-3 times a week, gently massaging damp skin without applying strong pressure. The principle is simple: more pressure does not mean a better result. Regular gentle exfoliation works more effectively than occasional aggressive rubbing.

I use it on my face only occasionally and without much pressure, but it works really well on my neck, décolletage and hands. The scent is subtle, it rinses off easily, and the skin really does feel smoother afterwards. I am giving it 4 stars only because the exfoliation is quite intense.
