The olive oil-based warming balm Arthro-Term is a cosmetic product for external use. Components of Arthro-Term balm:
The preparation contains the following active components: capsicum oil extract; essential oils of tea tree, fir, camphor; extracts of ginseng, boswellia, cinnamon; tocopherol, retinol.
Capsicum extract is known as a local irritant active component with its own analgesic effect. Widely used in the pharmaceutical industry as part of local analgesic ointments. The analgesic and warming effect (increased blood circulation at the site of application) is due to the active substance capsaicin. The olive oil extract of capsicum used in Arthro-Term balm is standardized for capsaicin (contains an exact amount of the active substance).
Fir and tea tree oils promote the penetration of active substances into tissues and have their own effects: weak local anesthetic and analgesic.
Camphor oil is a locally irritant component, the action of which is enhanced and supplemented by the essential oils included in the balm.
Ginseng extract, when applied externally, has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects in muscle and joint pain, due to its high content of active substances (glycoproteins).
Boswellia extract is known as an effective anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent widely used in traditional Eastern medicine. When applied externally, it reduces swelling of soft tissues and helps reduce pain in muscle and joint pain.
