Glycerin Cream, 42 ml-Shik

What it is

Shik Elixir Glycerin Cream is a simple moisturising cream for hands, body and dry areas that need quick relief from tight, rough skin. People usually choose a glycerin cream when the skin feels dehydrated after washing, cold weather, wind or frequent contact with water.

The key ingredient

The key ingredient here is glycerin, a classic humectant used in skincare for decades. In plain language, it helps draw water into the upper layers of the skin and hold it there. At the same time, it forms a very light protective layer on the surface, which slows down moisture loss. This is why glycerin creams are often used when the skin feels less flexible, looks dull or becomes prone to dryness.

What makes this type of body and hand cream useful is its straightforward focus: it does not rely on strong actives, acids or heavily perfumed masking effects. Instead, it helps the skin feel softer, smoother and more supple soon after application. This makes Shik cream practical for people who want an easy product to keep at home, at work or in a bag for use after handwashing or whenever exposed areas start to feel dry.

When to use it

It suits many simple skincare scenarios:

• Dry hands after soap and water
• Rough patches on elbows
• Skin that needs extra softness during colder months

Important notes

If your skin is very reactive or you know you are sensitive to cosmetic ingredients, it is sensible to check the full INCI list first and stop use if irritation appears. External use only, and avoid the eye area.
