Customer Questions
The ingredients contain no added sugar, honey, syrups or artificial sweeteners. The bar's sweetness comes entirely from the natural fruit sugars in prunes, raisins and apple. These fruits are quite sweet on their own, so the finished bar comes across as a proper sweet snack — neither bland nor diet-like in taste.
The bar can also work as a snack for schoolchildren: it is compact and has a simple fruit-based composition — its only additives are the stabiliser gum arabic and the preservative potassium sorbate. It fits easily into a school bag and needs no special storage conditions during the day.
The manufacturer does not specify any special storage conditions in the product description, but the general rules for dried-fruit bars apply: store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Once opened, the bar is best eaten straight away or wrapped up so that it does not dry out or absorb other odours.
