Victoria Beauty Collagen Eye Patches with Hyaluronic Acid are a cosmetic under-eye treatment product from the Victoria Beauty range by Rubella Beauty (Bulgaria), in the form of two gel eye patches (one pair) designed for intensive cosmetic care of the thin, delicate skin of the periocular area. The patch formula combines collagen fractions and hyaluronic acid as the two principal cosmetic actives for the eye contour. Hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) is a glycosaminoglycan humectant with exceptional water-binding capacity — a single hyaluronate molecule can retain up to 1,000 times its own weight in water, making it the most effective cosmetic humectant for deep moisture retention. In the gel patch format, the hyaluronic acid is delivered in a high-concentration, continuous-contact application directly to the periocular skin for the duration of wearing, maximising the depth of moisture uptake. The collagen fractions provide additional skin-surface protein conditioning. The patch format provides occlusion (moisture sealing) during wear, enhancing the penetration of the active ingredients relative to a standard cream format.
