What It Is and How It Works
DNC Hyaluronic Acid 10 ml for Face is a concentrated facial serum chosen when the complexion starts to look dehydrated, less smooth or less fresh. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally present in the skin, where it helps hold water in the upper layers. When its level drops — with age, dry air, sun exposure or an intensive skincare regimen — the face may look duller and fine lines can become more visible.
The main active, hyaluronic acid, works like a moisture-binding molecule. It attracts water and helps keep it near the skin surface, which can make the face look smoother and more elastic. This effect is especially noticeable when the product is applied to slightly damp skin and followed with a cream, because the upper layer then loses water more slowly. Rather than changing facial features, the serum improves the look of dehydration lines and rough texture, so the complexion appears calmer, fresher and more even.
When People Choose This Serum
The liquid format suits those who want a simple hydrating step without a heavy finish. It fits well into a regimen in these situations:
- Skin that feels tight after cleansing
- Periods of indoor heating or cold weather
- When using stronger cosmetic actives that make the face feel drier
- Under makeup, since better water balance on the surface often helps foundation sit more smoothly
Important Notes
Hyaluronic acid is generally well tolerated. It is best introduced on intact skin and combined with suitable moisturizing products. If your face is very reactive or you use exfoliating acids, retinoids or other intensive formulas, start gradually and watch how the skin responds.

Customer Questions
For the most noticeable effect, apply the serum while your face is still slightly damp after cleansing — hyaluronic acid works by attracting and holding water near the skin surface, so giving it moisture to bind to makes a real difference. Use a few drops and press them gently over the face and neck. Wait about 30–60 seconds for the liquid to absorb, then follow with a cream or lotion. The moisturizer creates a barrier that slows evaporation from the upper layers, which is what keeps the skin looking smoother and more elastic through the day. If you apply the serum on completely dry skin in a low-humidity environment (heated indoor air, airplane cabin), it can pull moisture from deeper layers instead, which may leave the face feeling tighter. The liquid texture absorbs quickly and does not leave a sticky film, so it layers well under both day and night creams.
The serum is chosen when the complexion looks dehydrated, less smooth, or less fresh — typical signs include a tight feeling after washing, more visible fine lines that disappear when the skin is hydrated, or a dull, uneven texture. It fits well in several common situations: during autumn and winter when indoor heating lowers humidity; after travel or long days in air-conditioned spaces; when you are using stronger cosmetic actives such as retinoids, high-percentage vitamin C, or exfoliating acids that can impair the barrier and increase water loss; and in the morning under makeup, because a better surface water balance often helps foundation sit more evenly and prevents it from settling into dehydration lines. The liquid format adds a hydrating step without a heavy or occlusive finish, so it works for oily, combination, and normal skin types that dislike rich creams.
Hyaluronic acid is generally well tolerated and is frequently added to routines that contain retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or other intensive formulas specifically to counteract the dryness and barrier disruption those actives can cause. If your face is very reactive or you are already using exfoliating acids, retinoids, or other intensive formulas, you should start gradually and observe how the skin responds. Apply the serum on intact (non-irritated, non-broken) skin, ideally after cleansing and before the active treatment or moisturizer, depending on your routine order. Because the serum's key ingredients include no exfoliating acids, retinoids, or fragrance, it adds hydration without introducing additional potential irritants. If you notice stinging, persistent redness, or increased sensitivity, reduce frequency or pause the active product and focus on barrier support with a simple moisturizer.
The product is described as generally well tolerated, and hyaluronic acid itself is not a known sensitizer for most people. However, the source explicitly advises caution if your face is very reactive: introduce the serum on intact skin only (no open lesions, active eczema, sunburn, or recent professional peels), and combine it with a suitable moisturizing product to support the barrier. Start with once-daily use — for example, in the evening — and monitor for any stinging, itching, or redness over the first week. If your skin reacts to many leave-on products, patch-test behind the ear or on the inner forearm for a few days before applying to the full face. Avoid layering it simultaneously with other new products so you can identify any trigger. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist or qualified skincare professional. This serum is a cosmetic hydrator, not a treatment for inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, rosacea, or dermatitis.
