Lanolin is a wax‑like substance that coats the skin surface, forming a barrier that locks in moisture. In this soap it works with olive oil, which softens the lather and reduces friction that can strip natural oils. The combination keeps the skin from feeling tight or stripped after washing, making it especially useful for people who wash frequently, live in cold or hard‑water areas, or have very dry, sensitive skin.
Using this soap on the face is safe for most people, but it is best suited for those with dry or sensitive skin. Because the bar contains lanolin, it can be gentler than standard soaps, but it is still a cleansing product and should not replace a dedicated facial moisturizer.
