Medikomed Cosmetic Coconut Oil is a 100% natural cosmetic-grade coconut oil (Cocos nucifera) in a convenient 75 ml format. Coconut oil is one of the most widely used cosmetic plant oils globally, derived from dried coconut kernel (copra) or fresh coconut flesh by cold pressing. It is characterised by an exceptionally high lauric acid content (approximately 47–50%), which gives it unique cosmetic properties: lauric acid has strong hair-shaft affinity and is one of the few fatty acids known to penetrate the hair fibre from the cortex inward, providing nourishment from within while protecting against protein loss during washing. On the skin, coconut oil forms a lightweight protective film, conditioning and softening the skin while creating a barrier that helps to maintain moisture. The oil is solid or semi-solid at cooler room temperatures (melting point approximately 24°C) and liquid in warmer conditions, making it a versatile multi-purpose cosmetic butter suitable for year-round use on both skin and hair.

INGREDIENTS (INCI): Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil.
USE: Warm a small amount in the palms until it melts. For skin: apply to body, face or hands as a nourishing and moisturising oil. For hair: apply to dry hair as a pre-wash treatment or to wet hair after washing as a conditioner; focus on mid-lengths and ends. Can also be used as a makeup remover or shaving oil.
WARNINGS: For external use only. May cause comedogenicity on acne-prone facial skin — test on a small area before full facial use. In case of eye contact, rinse with water. Do not use if allergic to coconut. Keep out of reach of children.
STORAGE: Store at cool room temperature, away from direct sunlight. The oil may naturally solidify in cool conditions — this is normal and does not affect quality.
