Coconut oil is a natural fat that melts around 24°C (76°F). It will be liquid in warm environments and solidify into a soft, white paste or solid mass in cooler rooms. This change is purely physical and reversible; it does not indicate spoilage, reduced effectiveness, or a change in composition. The quality remains stable. To store it, keep the bottle in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat sources like radiators. If you prefer a softer, more spreadable texture for easier application, you can place the closed bottle in a bowl of warm (not hot) water for a few minutes or hold it in your hands. Do not microwave it, as uneven heating can degrade the oil. A stable, moderately cool storage temperature will help minimize these texture fluctuations.
