The combination of methyl nicotinate (a skin-warming agent that increases local blood circulation sensation) and caffeine in topical cosmetics is commonly used in body contouring gel formulations. Centella asiatica is a well-known botanical used in cosmetics for skin conditioning and support of the skin's natural barrier function.
